A Sharing Platform for Association and Population Analysis or SPAPA is a web-based analytic platform for Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS) and population structure analysis in various organisms. Series of SPAPA −H (Human) event is designed suitably for population and association study using human genotypic data. This easy-to-use platform allows users to conduct GWAS analysis by submitting binary (case-control) or continuous phenotypic data together with genotypic data prepared in PLINK format. A higher number of controls per case is possible in this platform by including other (diseases) control datasets agreed to share among consortium, thus enhancing statistical power of GWAS. Two modes of GWA analysis− Stratified and Mixed-model association analysis− enable users to analyze sub-populations with ancestral homogeneity separately and all samples across ancestral background, respectively. Inference of missing genotypes derived from SNParray can be automatedly imputed by available choices of genotype imputation software and reference panel in SPAPA-H platform.
